Tree Toss, a Signature Event at the Animal Park at Conservators Center

Want a wild start to your new year?

Tree Toss will return in 2021!

When you’re facing the after-holiday blues after packing up the decorations and taking down the tree, never fear. Come celebrate the new year in a thrilling, unique way at our annual Tree Toss event.

Tree Toss is a much-anticipated event that has become a tradition for our wild family. Each year, the friendly folks at Cranberry Tree Farm donate their unsold trees to the Animal Park, and we give them to our animals as a special form of holiday enrichment. They love the strong scent of pine and scratchy textures! If you’ve never seen wild animals receiving holiday trees, presents, and toys, don’t miss this chance. We want to share this tradition with you. Come join the fun!

Observe Our Animals At Your Own Pace

Because Tree Toss is a self-guided walkabout event, you can spend as much time as you want admiring the residents you find the most fascinating. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be stationed throughout the grounds to tell you about our animals and answer your questions.

Make a Present for an Animal!

We offer our residents more than just trees at this event—and you can help create these special gifts! Come before 11:45 and join us for the crafty fun! No special skills are required, and we provide all the materials. All visitors are welcome to participate!

Learn From Our Keepers and Experienced Animal Handlers

Throughout the event, our keepers will be giving keeper talks, and our experienced animal handlers will offer demonstrations of how we socialize, interact with, and enrich the lives of our animal residents.
