Howl-O-Ween

October 26 and 27, 2024
11 am - 3pm

Put on your favorite costume and treat your family (and yourself) to a day at the Animal Park on October 26 and October 27, for Howl-O-Ween! We’ll have kid-friendly trick-or-treat tours available from 11 am–3 pm* so everyone can meet the animals; make sure to stop by and howl with our wolves! Out in our large green space, kids can play Halloween games, enjoy a bounce house, participate in trunk-or-treat, and conjure up some creepy crafts.

Note: Last tours start at 1pm; Park closes at 3pm.

Legends & Lore

October 26, 2024
8 pm - 9 pm

Explore legends and history as you travel into the darkness with our storytellers. From man-eaters and monsters to gods and kings, learn how humans have viewed predators as much through story as science. Listen to the howls of wolves, the roars of lions, and other animals calling to one another in the night while you discover the lore that made these predators infamous.

Parental advisory: Legends & Lore features stories that deal with some adult themes including violence, sex, magic, and religion that may not be appropriate for younger audiences. This tour also takes place in the dark and participants are expected to follow strict rules of behavior and conduct. For these reasons, the Animal Park has limited the age of participants to 18 years and older.

Accessibility, Safety, and Pets

The Animal Park is not wheelchair accessible; however, accessibility accommodations are available for visitors with mobility issues. Please note that we are not able to allow unauthorized vehicles, including scooters or motorized wheelchairs, in the Park. Find more information about disability accommodations and access in the Tour FAQ on our Plan Your Visit page.

If you are planning to visit the Animal Park, please take a moment to review your confirmation email and text to complete our online tour waiver.  Waivers will also be available in the gift shop for visitors to complete during check-in.

For safety reasons, the Animal Park cannot allow visitors to bring pets on site. Any visitor who brings an animal to the Park will be asked to leave immediately. No animals may be left unattended in a vehicle.

Due to the uneven surfaces of our tour path, for children’s safety, we cannot allow them to ride in wagons in the Park, and we encourage child sling carriers over strollers. Strollers are allowed, with children secured inside, but at the parent’s sole discretion.

Family Adventures

Have you ever looked a lion, tiger, leopard, or wolf in the eye? Had a “conversation” with a jungle cat? Witnessed the flickering tufts of a caracal’s ear? What on earth is a binturong—and why is it so important to its natural ecosystem?

Discover all this and much more when you join us for an Adventure tour at the Animal Park!
