Employment at the Animal Park

The Animal Park at the Conservators Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies heavily on a
dedicated staff of employees and permanent volunteers.

Animal Care Manager

The Animal Care Manager is responsible for the daily husbandry and overall welfare of the animal collection. This Manager works alongside, trains, and oversees the animal care staff. The Animal Care Manager interacts regularly with individual animals for their daily care, as well as with other staff and park guests to help provide exceptional visitor experiences.

Animal
Keeper

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated individual to join our team as a Zoo Keeper. As a Keeper, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of a diverse range of animals, ensuring their habitats are safe, clean, and enriching.

Visitor Services Associate

A Visitor Services Associate is the smiling face all guests see when they arrive, helping set the tone for an amazing experience at the park. The Visitor Services Associate works in the Visitors Center, which includes a Gift Shop where visitors check in and make purchases, where guests inquire about volunteering or donation opportunities, and where volunteers check in for assistance and to offer help.

Family Adventures

Have you ever looked a lion, tiger, leopard, or wolf in the eye? Had a “conversation” with a jungle cat? Witnessed the flickering tufts of a caracal’s ear? What on earth is a binturong—and why is it so important to its natural ecosystem?

Discover all this and much more when you join us for an Adventure tour at the Animal Park!
