Are you crazy about caracals? Do you go gaga for gray wolves? Love tigers of all stripes? At the Animal Park, get ready to celebrate wildlife, our amazing residents, and all things love!
Celebrate all things love by participating Wild Hearts activities happening the first two weeks of February.
Purchase a valentine (either signed or secret-admirer-style) for whichever special animal you choose. Visit in person before or after a tour to write your own message, draw them a picture, however you’d like to express your feelings.
They’re only $1 each ($5 for supersize) and as Valentine’s Day approaches, we’ll display the tributes near the animals’ habitats and around our gift shop. Don’t forget to follow us on social media (Instagram and Facebook)—we’ll be sure to share the love.
Frankly Speaking Valentine’s Adventure
Join us February 14 at 4:30 pm for an exclusive Valentine’s Day tour all about love in the animal kingdom. Our inimitable guide Frank shares the, well, “frank” facts on how species like those at the Park choose a mate, win their affection, and raise their young.
It’s educational, entertaining, and a little bit cheeky.
This one-time-only tour is a discussion, not a lecture, so come curious and ask questions!
Rated PG-18 for mature themes and suggestive humor. (But before you ask: No, we will not be staging any X-rated “Animals Gone Wild” demonstrations.)
Add a special valentine for your favorite animal to your tour experience.
Until February 14, 2025, you can purchase a valentine for your favorite animal resident!
For only $1 per valentine, or $5 for an oversized valentine, we’ll help you send a special message to the animal of your choice.
We Smell a Rat!
And nothing makes our small felines fall in love faster! Forget the box of chocolates: Wish our servals, caracals, bobcats, lynx, and other residents a Happy Valentine’s Day by donating tasty (predeceased-and-frozen) whole prey, a beneficial nutritional boost for these obligate carnivores.
You can designate your gift in honor (or dishonor) of whoever you like. Call out a ratty ex who did you wrong. Or pay tribute to a smart sweetheart who understands that these rodent rations are gifts of love for our animals.
Sponsor a large rat for $8 or an extra-large for $10 (with discounts for 4 or more).
