To everyone who joined us for Tree Toss on January 17, we send oofs, howls, and chuffles of thanks—plus a few EXTRA purrs for the folks who voted on names for our two new Eurasian lynx! Introducing … Katerina (right) and Oksana (left), names that pay homage to their Carpathian subspecies (think Romania).
We can’t wait to learn more about these sleek 1-year-old sisters, who joined us as potential future companions for young Ruckus Eurasian Lynx. We can already tell that Katerina is bold and outgoing, while Oksana is a bit more reserved. Both thoroughly enjoyed their extra enrichment at Tree Toss.
