Egg Hunt Adventure
Family-friendly activities and special features geared toward young children!
1pm - 4pm
The Animal Park’s Egg Hunt Adventure will be a fun-filled activity for kids to learn about animals and conservation, and enjoy some time outside.
Enjoy a festive egg hunt alongside our self-guided safaris, where guests can explore the park at their own pace and linger with favorite animals. Egg hunts begin at 1:30pm and 3pm, giving participants fifteen minutes to search our spacious field and picnic area. Friendly, trained docents will be stationed throughout the Park to answer questions and share insights. Guests are welcome to linger at the habitats they find most fascinating and enjoy the experience at their own pace. We’ll also have sweet treats for purchase from Carolina Sugar Clouds facepainting from All Things Fun!
Last onsite tickets will be sold at 3:15pm to allow guests time to enjoy the Park before closing at 4pm.
Please note: While the Park welcomes guests of all ages, the egg hunt is designed for children up to age 10.
Join our canned food drive to help our community!
Bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for free admission to the Egg Hunt (Park admission must be purchased separately) to benefit Southern Alamance Family Empowerment (SAFE).

Accessibility, Safety, and Pets
The Animal Park is not wheelchair accessible; however, accessibility accommodations are available for visitors with mobility issues. Please note that we are not able to allow unauthorized vehicles, including scooters or motorized wheelchairs, in the Park. Find more information about disability accommodations and access in the Tour FAQ on our Plan Your Visit page.
If you are planning to visit the Animal Park, please take a moment to review your confirmation email and text to complete our online tour waiver. Waivers will also be available in the gift shop for visitors to complete during check-in.
For safety reasons, the Animal Park cannot allow visitors to bring pets on site. Any visitor who brings an animal to the Park will be asked to leave immediately. No animals may be left unattended in a vehicle.
Due to the uneven surfaces of our tour path, for children’s safety, we cannot allow them to ride in wagons in the Park, and we encourage child sling carriers over strollers. Strollers are allowed, with children secured inside, but at the parent’s sole discretion.
