World Binturong Day! - Animal Park at Conservators Center

Every May we get to celebrate all things Binturong! On Saturday, May 8th, join us for a very special celebration of this unique and exotic animals, nicknamed “bearcats.”

Our Animal Park will be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm for you to visit and learn about our animal residents at your own pace, with a special emphasis on binturongs. Purchase your tickets when you arrive and make sure to grab a Park map! We will be having demonstrations at Jerry Binturong, hosting fun activities, and we will have fun coloring pages dedicated to this “keystone” species – and even our mascot Popcorn Binturong will be here to take pictures with guests! We’ll have Gettin’ Sauced in the City Food Truck on site with a special dish inspired by the day and even Bright Penny Brewing from 11AM-2PM serving up their delicious Animal Park beer that was inspired by our park binturongs.

So plan to visit us May 8th and spend the day learning all about these corn chip scented animals, as well as visiting our other residents!
