Event will take place with showers or light rain, but if forecast is for downpours and/or storms, Girl Scout Day will be moved to the rain date, Sept 21, 2019 Please make sure your troop sets the rain date aside, as well as the event date. If your troop cannot make the rain date, you can receive credit towards a tour at the Center.
Everyone attending should bring a water bottle and a bag lunch, and girls should bring sit-upons (adults will get priority at our picnic tables). After you register, you will receive an information packet that includes your troop’s customized schedule, items to bring, and important reminders.
Bring Your Memories Home
Your troop will have the opportunity to earn the Animal Park at the Conservators Center Participation Patch, designed by Girl Scouts! If your troop has already earned the patch, the girls can opt for a beautiful Animal Park at the Conservators Center magnet, featuring our new logo.
This event will be fun and educational for girls who have already been to the Park, as well as those who will be meeting our awesome animals for the first time.
Accessibility, Safety, and Pets
The Animal Park is not wheelchair accessible; however, accessibility accommodations are available for visitors with mobility issues. Please note that we do not allow unauthorized vehicles, including scooters or motorized wheelchairs, in the park. You can find more information about disability accommodations and handicapped access in the Tour FAQ on our Plan Your Visit page. Please note that strollers are also not permitted in the park.
If you are planning to visit the Animal Park, please take a moment to review and complete our tour waiver. Waivers will also be available in the gift shop for visitors to complete during the check-in process.
For safety reasons, the Animal Park does not allow visitors to bring pets on site. Any visitor who brings an animal to the Park will be asked to leave immediately. We do not allow visitors to leave animals unattended in a vehicle at any time of year.
